Current messaging platforms are built on the same fundamental architecture with a similar business model. Collect the user's data and behavior, store it under their terms, and use it under their terms, including potentially selling to the big AI companies to train their models on. The company controls the platform and decides what to do with the data. Now there is an option: The Galixsys Networks Communicator Platform where you install the 'server' on the hardware you choose, and invite your friends to join! With all communications being routed to the hardware you choose, you control how that data is used. Further, with the Ai agent capability built in, you can use your own local AI server instead of prompt inputs to the big AI companies. You control the platform!

Galixsys Communicator messaging platform

Build a messaging community where conversations stay under your community's control—not in a cloud company's AI training database. The Galixsys Communicator messaging platform allows organizations, families, businesses, schools, clubs, and communities to host their own messaging platform on hardware they choose and control. Further, with the embedded AI agent, a local AI server can be integrated into the infrastructure allowing users to prompt AI members without the need to use an AI service.
Most messaging platforms rely on centralized cloud infrastructure where a single provider stores or manages communications. Galixsys Communicator takes a different approach. Every platform operates independently on hardware selected by its administrator, eliminating a centralized repository of conversations that can be mined, sold, or aggregated for AI training by a centralized platform provider. Why host your own platform?
When your community operates its own messaging infrastructure:- Your conversations aren't collected into one company's centralized database.- There is no platform provider that can aggregate your community's messages for AI training.- Your organization decides where its messaging infrastructure is hosted.- Your community owns its communications.
How it works:- Install GalixiHub on a computer or server you control.- Create your own World.- Invite members using the GalixiCom messaging app.- Members can participate in one or many independent Worlds.

GalixiCom

The main application and interface that members use to communicate. GalixiCom interfaces like any messaging app. The difference is how the app sends and receives messages. Messages are not stored on a central server for retrieval by the recipient; messages are routed through each “World” (an instance of GalixiHub) that has been setup by the World owner on their own physical device. AI members may be communicated with that are on local AI servers. The GalixiCom app may be subscribed to (for a yearly fee) via the Google Play Store for Android devices, or the Apple App Store for iOS devices.

GalixiHub

A separate application that is setup by an administrator, or “World” owner. Setup requires a level of network administration capability on the order of hosting an on-line game from a home PC. AI agent functionality is added, allowing GalixiHub to connect to a local AI server for the creation of AI members on a world. GalixiHub is currently available as an Android application (available via the Google Play Store), a Debian package (via an APT repository) for Debian-based Linux systems, and as a Docker image (via Docker Hub) and infrastructure (via Git Hub).
